About Authentic Heart

Authentic Heart Behavioral Health & Wellness was created from a simple but powerful belief: healing happens best when care honors the whole person—mind, body, identity, and lived experience.

At Authentic Heart, therapy is not rushed, surface-level, or one-size-fits-all. Care is intentional, collaborative, and responsive. Whether you are navigating anxiety, burnout, identity concerns, relational stress, or simply seeking space to reconnect with yourself, you are met with respect, clarity, and support.​

 

My approach integrates evidence-based clinical practice with mindfulness, self-reflection, and holistic wellness strategies. I believe healing is not just about symptom reduction—it’s about building resilience, restoring balance, and creating sustainable ways to care for yourself beyond the therapy session.

 

​Authentic Heart is especially committed to serving Black women, professionals, parents, and caregivers, while welcoming all individuals who value culturally responsive, affirming care. This is a space where you do not have to explain your humanity to be understood.
