FAQ's

Is this therapy?

The Gentle Reset is a therapist-led, trauma-informed healing circle designed to support emotional wellness and nervous system regulation. While it is facilitated by a licensed therapist and grounded in therapeutic principles, it is not a substitute for individual therapy.

Do I have to share or speak during the session?

No. Sharing is always optional.
You are welcome to participate through reflection, chat, or simply listening. Silence is respected and honored in this space.

Who is this series for?

The Gentle Reset is for adults who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, burned out, or in need of rest and grounding. It’s especially supportive for caregivers, leaders, helpers, and women who carry a lot for others.

Do I need prior therapy experience to attend?

Not at all. Many participants are new to therapy or returning after a break. The Gentle Reset is intentionally designed to be gentle, accessible, and welcoming.

Is this a support group?

This is a structured therapeutic healing circle, not a traditional support group. The focus is on regulation, reflection, and emotional care—not problem-solving or group processing.

What if I feel emotional or overwhelmed during the session?

You are encouraged to move at your own pace. Grounding practices are woven throughout the session, and you may step away, turn your camera off, or pause participation at any time.

How long is each session?

Each Gentle Reset session is 75 minutes.

Is this virtual or in person?

The Gentle Reset is currently offered virtually. Details and access information are sent after registration.

Can I attend more than one session?

Yes. Each session stands alone, and many participants choose to attend multiple sessions. Bundle options are available for those who want ongoing support.

What’s the difference between the session themes?

Each Gentle Reset session has a unique focus (such as rest, boundaries, emotional release, or nervous system care), but all follow the same gentle, trauma-informed structure. You can choose the theme that best fits your needs at the time.

What if I miss a session I registered for?

Because this is a live, therapeutic experience, sessions are not recorded. If you need to miss a session, please contact us in advance regarding rescheduling options.

Is this covered by insurance?

No. The Gentle Reset is a self-pay wellness offering and is not billed to insurance.

Is there an intake or screening process?

Yes. A brief intake form is required during registration to ensure the group is a good fit and to support emotional safety for all participants.

What if I need more support after the session?

If you find that you’d benefit from additional support, you may explore:

  • Individual therapy services

  • Seasonal therapy cohorts

  • Self-Care University courses

Referrals and resources can be discussed as appropriate.

How do I register?

Simply choose your date, select your session theme, complete the brief intake form, and submit payment through the registration section above.
